  Exeter Airport offers daily flights to Newcastle  in the North East of England throughout the whole year.

  Newcastle is a vibrant city which has seen a lot of inner city rejuvenation in recent years and as such, has great shopping facilities and a very active nightlife.

  The biggest shopping areas of Newcastle is the Eldon square shopping centre which is one of the biggest city centre shopping areas in the United Kingdom which houses a John Lewis which is on the site of the world’s first department store Bainbridge’s which was opened in 1838.   Newcastle’s nightlife is centred around the quayside and city centre and places like the Bigg market and hosts much more than clubs and bars as there are cinemas and restaurants.

  If it’s a more culture time you are after then you can visit the Theatre Royal on Grey street which was built in 1837 and has hosted the Royal Shakespeare company for over 25 years.

  Newcastle’s discovery museum is a fabulous chance to discover the history about Newcastle, the shipbuilding and its inventions that change the world.

  The literary and Philosophical society of Newcastle upon Tyne is the biggest independent library outside of London. It has more than 160000 records, books and CD’s.

  Newcastle has been home to some very famous musicians and bands such as Dire straits, Sting, Bryan Ferry, the Animals as well as the folk group Lindisfarne who released their 1971 famous song “Fog on the Tyne”.
